Clara Mayer - Director, Business Development
Clara Mayer is responsible for identifying opportunities in our Organizational Development program for medium-sized businesses who have a need to improve their performance and management avenues.
Clara began her career in 1992 working in the large resorts and hotels acquisition arena. As the youngest female in the resort acquisition industry, she established herself in her industry by working with some of the largest investment groups such as KSL Resorts and Interstate Hotels. Clara’s creative approach, tenacity and reputation in pre and post acquisition evaluations and operational restructuring brought about the successful and historic acquisitions of the Doral Resort and Saturnia Spa - Miami, Florida; Boca Raton Resort - Boca Raton; Florida, and Desert Springs Hotel and Spa - Desert Hot Springs, California to name a few.
Clara specializes in strategic market penetration, alliance and partnership building, and ‘out of the box’ marketing strategies. Most recently, Clara worked with China Solutions as a Vice President of Business Development and Marketing directing sales and marketing teams in preparation of company’s acquisition. Subsequent to the acquisition of China Solution by YourBuyer Worldwide, Clara became YourBuyer Worldwide Director of Business Development. During her 18 month consulting contract with YourBuyer, Clara secured over $50 million of globally sourced products for the textile and construction industries while training her business development teams globally.
Clara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Ph.D Certification in personal effectiveness training from ChoiceCenter Worldwide in Las Vegas, NV. Clara is dedicated to teaching personal effectiveness to benefit the quality of life for all human beings. Clara also coordinates leadership programs at ChoiceCenter Worldwide where she is responsible for executing and developing curriculum for high-performance leadership programs. Clara is a philanthropist and humanitarian involved with various organizations such as Humanity Unites Brilliance, CS Africa and Lost Children of Sudan. Clara lives in Monrovia, California with her daughter Chloe.
Kirsten Hansen - Senior Associate
Kirsten Hansen received her undergraduate degree in English at Loma Linda University and her J.D. at the Glendale University College of Law. She became a certified paralegal in 1989 at UCLA.
Ms. Hansen has worked as a paralegal at the Los Angeles-area law firms of Hillsinger & Costanzo; Knapp, Petersen & Clarke; Carl Sherriff & Associates, and at Stutman, Triester & Glatt. She was the Director of Legal Affairs at EarthLink Network, Inc. from 1996-2000, and was most recently Practice Development Manager at O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
Ms. Hansen works extensively in our workplace investigations department as well as managing special projects and programs for our clients.
