NAUREEN MCMILLAN, SPHR-CA - MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCE SERVICES
Naureen McMillan comes to RSJ/Swenson with more than 20 years as a Human Resources professional with experience ranging from developing a Human Resources department to assimilating with a larger Human Resources department as the result of an acquisition by another bank.
She has extensive experience in employment law interpretation and compliance, employee relations, compensation, human resource development, recruiting and selection.
As Human Resources Manager for Pacific Crest Capital and its successor, Pacific Capital Bancorp, she managed all Human Resources activities for 200 employees in nine locations and four states.
She has presented classes for managers in the Basics of Wage and Hour Law (FLSA), Human Resources Laws, and Leaves of Absence including FMLA, CFRA, and PDL. These classes included interpreting California law so managers understood their role in compliance with these laws. She was the recipient of the Mentor Award for fostering employee commitment and satisfaction in 2006.
Naureen holds a B.A. in Psychology, from Stonehill College in Massachusetts, and a designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources – California (SPHR-CA) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
She is a Member of Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
